Bombus lucorum

By Sue_R
Got so fed up with not being able to take any pics since my shoulder op that I decided I'd have to have a go in the garden today. My right arm was next to useless and very uncomortable, but at least I managed to get a few shots.

The plan was to photograph the flowers but this bee seemed determined to get in on the act and as it took me so long to set up the shot I decided to have that too Smile

Many thanks to those of you who have voted and commented on my recent uploads.

A lovely shot Sue, gorgeous blue, and the Bee adds a sense of scale.
So VERY well done to you, and I don't doubt that you truly suffered for your art today.

This is superb, Sue... wish I could get such cracking images even without a bad shoulder! A very beautifully coloured flower, and the inclusion of the bee really adds icing to the cake. Must be viewed large this. Definitely one for the favourites, too. Love it.
