Eryngium

By Sue_R
Been having a play with an image I uploaded a couple of weeks back of Eryngium flowers in our garden. V2 is the mono conversion and, for V1, I brought back just a hint of colour.

Thanks for your votes and comments on my recent uploads and, for those of you who have been asking after my shoulder, I went back to the hospital for my post op appointment today. The consultant was pleased with the way it's progressing and said I may be able to go back to work in four to six weeks.

Well I really liked the original Sue, and a good idea to rework this one. V1 has to be the out and out winner here, but V2 has it's appeal it has to be said.
All the best to you,

This new style of images of yours is getting rather special.....& this one's a corker ! V1 has a quality of it's own....I love the slight hint of colour, not a mono, yet different & very accomplished....I love it !!!!

Love the dof simplicity Sue, monochromatic excellence. Ron.
You must have smiled prettily at the consultant my Dear. Both of these images are very, very good, the hint of purple in nice, but I'd be hard prssed to choose, they both deserve wall space for me.

The original was very beautiful and these conversions are equally delightful. I do love both, but think V1 with just a hint of colour is my fave. Smile
So glad to hear your shoulder's progressing well, Sue, Smile but what a shame you can't work for another four to six weeks! Sad
