Another of the Eryngium flowers in our garden, this time insect free Smile I've uploaded two versions of this one and will be interested to know which you prefer.

PS. Sorry to those of you who voted and commented on my earlier upload this evening, but it looked much darker on here than it did in Photoshop. May have another play with it and upload it again another day.

I really like these unusual looking plants Sue, and very well photographed. When I say unusual, i mean unusual to me, I'm sure they're quite common to you, a bit like me really Smile

Nice arrangement of the subject within the frame, lovely detail & colour, but V1 has more impact for me....maybe from the deeper colour, & slightly more detail/definition ?....lovely shot though !!
