Gazania

By Sue_R
Another flower image from our garden, with a mono version at V2.

Going away on holiday and leaving the garden to fend for itself at the end of the week so may actually get some new landscape pics at long last Smile Only going as far as Gairloch in Wester Ross, but really looking forward to the break Smile

Many thanks for all your votes and comments on my recent uploads.

I love Gazanias ... they are such a hearty flower and come in various colors ... they are used extensively here in Southern California, as a drought-tolerated, poor soil ground cover .... my favorite is the white/purple Gazania ...

Lovely shot ..

Lovely images Sue - V2 for me

Amazingly the monochrome looks as good if not better than that wonderful yellow. Even Van Gogh would have been in a quandry here.

What a stunning colour! Very beautifully captured, Sue - you must have a really lovely garden. A nice mono conversion, too...but it has to be the colour version for me.
Hope you have a great holiday - only 2 weeks now to my next, when I'm going to Whitby for a few days. Smile

Trev, the photos are deceptive. The garden is still very new so individual plants look fine, but the overall effect is still looking a bit bare at the moment. It's got a lot of growing to do now Smile

I love these very vibrant flowers Sue, but you've done a fantastic job with the mono, I like it even better! ( Don't think i'll ask at the garden centre if they have them in Black and White though ) Wink
