Another flower image from our visit to Inverewe Garden at Poolewe while in Wester Ross on holiday last month.

Afraid I don't know the full name of this one so I could only call it "Geranium". I'll be very pleased if any of the flower experts amongst you can help me with it's correct name Smile

Thanks for your votes and comments and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The focus on the flower and the great dof effect stands this out, the colour is beautiful too. - gary

A beauty. It may have been better with a tighter crop to the right and above the flower,

A lovely shot, Sue, with excellent use of selective DOF allowing the single bloom to stand out so well but backed up by the neighbouring 'softer' buds. Lovely floral shot.

I like the shallow DOF and fine detail Sue.

A very lovely image, Sue, super colours, and very well captured. As Ronnie says, the depth of field really makes it stand out well.
Hope your Minch Sunset didn't cause a domestic!
