Astrantia major

By Sue_R
Another photo of the Astrantia major flowers in our garden. I took this over a month ago and they're still in flower now so definitely well worth finding room for. And, if you look very closely, you may find a couple of greenfly that snuck into the photo when I wasn't looking Smile

Many thanks for your votes and comments on my images and sorry I don't get to spend as much time on here as I'd like these days.

You have composed this image nicely with the flower heads making an attractive arrangement within tue frame, and your selective focussing with wide open aperture has worked out well, Sue.

What a glorious colour! Mine are so much paler, though still appreciated for their long-lasting flowering. Beautiful details in the main point of focus here.

Excellently placed and composed, Sue. Good, no, very good dof which you adjusted to ensure the insect interest was slightly oof so as not to distract too much.
