Bamburgh Castle

By SueEley
Taken when we went up north for a break - short break, as it turns out (rain stopped play....) but very nice all the same. Fantastic scenery. A very windy day. Converted from colour and played with a bit.... Enjoying my holiday for the second time, working on these! What a great castle, and what a lovely beach.

Wonderful image. I like the B&W conversion and the film grain filter. I think that the way you have 'tweaked' this image in post production is excellent. I like the composition and the silhouette of the castle is really good.

A new take on an often seen subject, really like this, the softness of the grass really contrasts well with the hard lines of the castle
