The inclusion of part flower on either side looks like a pattern on something.

This different angle works extremely well with agapanthus, like a worm's eye view.
I wondered what it would look like without the part-flowers either side, so did a modification. Slight sharpening and a simple frame.

Thanks for taking the time to do this Pamela. I'd left the flowers at the sides because I thought they would frame the central flower, but having seen your mod, I think I prefer the shot without Smile
Beautifully composed and photographed I think there is merit for both but Ive left the flowers on either side
because they give the eye licence to roam .

Pamelas' mod works much better for me, less complications in the frame.
Perhaps the inclusion of part flowers would work with different flowers, Agapanthus are complicated and spread out ( not the word i was looking for but I hope you understand ), lots of space between the individual florets, all competing for attention.
A more 'solid' flower may well work.
I like the angle of view, colour is good, nicely intense blue and a complimentary light blue bg.
