Ms Autumn 2

By sugar jones
Sorry the last one was doing my head in, so I've done my best to tone down the background and crop some of it out, better than it was but wanted to put it back up anyway as I like the colours. Thanks for all the comments peeps most helpful.

You did the right thing!! Very pretty girl!

Cheers Debbie!
O'Course I don't like ironing anyway!

What I should be looking at is a well taken and exposed picture of a beautiful girl. Unfortunately just over her shoulder, the digital manipulation keeps waving to me and going "Yoohoo!!! Over here!!! Look at me!! Aren't I great?"

I like the picture but the digitising is killing it in a big way. Sorry.

No worries Rab I was just looking at it and I know what ya mean. I was tempted to crop it closer. Thanks for being honest though. By the way where's that picture of you in the dodgy get up at the ironing board I wanted to show hubby the other night and couldn't find it - I love that shot! x

I just had a look Sugar but it's not there. Funny thing is, I can't remember taking it down. Confused now ;o(

I suppose I could put it up again or one from the same shoot and I could do it at 1000 pixels now I have E2. Now that might scare some people ;o)

Btw: Is Sugar your real name or just a web name? It's such a cool name and reminds me of the line from Ash in the Evil Dead.

I love the colours in this shot, but paradoxically I'd love to see it in a high contrast B&W too

By bigbird At 14:47:04 - 08th Oct 05
Absolutely love the shot, but gotta say I hate the background. Sorry!

Sugar Jones is just my web name, it was the name of a 70s comic book character that I found in an Osmonds Annual (bizarrely) from about 1974 (I was only born in 73!) that I'd been flicking though in a second hand bookshop about 10 years ago and I never forgot the name. I didn't like the character in the book and when I started my first new business venture a couple of years ago (which I no longer do) I created my logo based on the name which you can see at www.sugarjones.co.uk
Thats how I thought she should look. Smile

I like this one a lot better. Thanks for answering my question too. The amount of times I've poses a question on a picture to be just ignored is extremely frustrating. You would think the question mark would give people a clue ;o)

LMAO too true. I do the same. The question lost in the cyberspace forever because some people are just waiting for clicks! Where as I am still very much interested in peoples comments opinions and ideas good or bad ...in my eyes none of it is bad if it improves my skills.

...oh bu*ger there wasn't a question mark after that and now I look like I'm talking to myself Wink

feels unfinished. the background is wrong.
maybe needs to be varied and softer.
you found a good face and have done some good work with her. there is a sort of timeless mood here. brilliant photo but not perfect, that vertical light band down the left is terribly annoying.
(don't worry, I'm back from photosig, where we criticise the hell out of everything)

Edit: whats really good is the way it has clarity and softness at the same time, and the lighting effect on the wavy hair.
Now, one click nearer the RC, eh ?
