A TASTE OF FRANCE SERIES

Well its been a while, this is an old capture from my original camera (S5000).
Love these old painted buildings in France. Much to the amusement ....sorry ...most probably bemusement of the locals as I crouched behind a wall to take the shot I'd also made my hubby stop the car for this one. (among others, what he has to put up with! It must be love!)

It was a colour image and has been turned B/W except for the original painted advertising on the building. Did my best to clean up the very noisy sky (which I never have a problem with on my 350D - Yipee).

The Top Right Third, the angry sky , holds the interest in this very dramatic shot.

Bit of a Francophile myself. Nice shot. Good use of selective colour. These painted signs are gradually disappearing, so grab 'em while you can.

Merits a good long look. Works well in b&w, like the coloured touch.
