Not that interesting... but for those who need to know... here is the short version!!!

Middle aged Aussie photographer who has recently returned home after 4.5 wonderful years living and working (in academia) in the UK... and enjoyed almost every minute of it. It was where I found out about this wonderful site and got to meet some great people at various members' meets... especially up at Rowardennen.

Generally like (and have tried) most forms of photography - landscapes, portraits, wildlife, macro, etc - but my main interest is in classic cars and historic motor sport. I have been taking photos and writing articles for car magazines for over 20 years... but the advent of digital cameras has really provided me with greater opportunities for submitting work, much more cost effectively.
