Rain!

By SurreyHillsMan
Better "Large" if you've time

I know not to everyones taste, but I was on a pheasant drive commission shoot yesterday in 60mph winds and pouring rain.. not easy conditions and ISO cranked up to 2000

.. I noticed the Sun is out today! Smile

Thanks for looking... apologies for not commenting lately.. lots of editing to catch up on

Nice one Jon - I heard a lot of shooting yesterday in my neck o' the woods. I think the rain adds a new dynamic to an otherwise 'normal' shot. At least with all that rain, there's no need to de-noise : )

Great image of a moment of thought, whereby he looks like he is wishing he had stayed at home or back at the lodge.
Large is great.
Well done
Kindest Regards

Fantastic a Henry getting soaked and looking rather despondant Jon. Shooting tame birds where's the sport in that. Cracking image though in those conditions but find the cartridge bag a little distracting, all of it or none I think. Really love the rain streaks

I just hope you had a good few brace to take home Jon to compensate for the obviously terrible conditions.

Well I hope they got frozen, thoroughly soaked and ticked off. Cruel passtime but glad you were only using a camera to shoot and get this great photo.

I could look at pictures like this all day. You could make so many captions up when a photograph captures a great facial epression.
