Rural Foxes

By SurreyHillsMan
In my attempt not to spook the Fox family again I returned yesterday morning to build myself a small hide from sticks, my chair hide hide was far too big and unnatural looking, I went back late afternoon and after a two hour wait bingo! This is Mum with one of the four cubs.

To start I was using "live view" which gave a really quiet shutter but had terrible trouble focusing so I reverted to my normal set up, they could hear the shutter but on seeing a pile of sticks and ferns seemed happy to carry on playing Smile... shame the light was a bit harsh, can't have everything, but I'll be back Smile

These may be labled child killers after the incident in East London. A very warming natural image Jon, of our largest predator with a reputation ( undeserved as with all wildlife ! ) Ron.

Both these foxes look to be in excellent condition Jon. They are feeding well somewhere. Light is a bit harsh but it has not stopped you from producing a fine shot.
