Not too pleased with this but struggling to find anything to upload - I bleached out the background to just offwhite but think it lacks something. Any suggestions for improvement?

He looks a bit scared! More work needs doing on the left shoulder. Maybe some catchlights in the eyes?

It is a good head and shoulder portrait, but perhaps a little too moody for the guy's liking. He dosent look at all happy with the pose.

So another no-no for men who don't smile! I think this is his natural expression, but I will persuade him to smile next time. Thanks for the comments.

I think a dark background would have suited the expression more and enhanced the mood ?
