Sunlit girl

By Sus
Taken on Christmas Day - was shooting into the sun as I liked the way the sun lit up the fluffy edge of her coat while she was transformed to just a silhouette. I liked the way it turned out, in an 'arty' sort of way, but would appreciate any comments or tips.

Auto-levels adjustment only, then cropped slightly.

A nice 'happenstance'! 'Tis good to go against the rules sometimes, and I like this. Well caught!

Like the backlighting and the lens flare adds a certain something.

try using a lens hood to minimise that terrible flare, sometimes a hand held in the right place works well.

I had a lens hood on - think I rather like the (accidental) prisming effect at her feet!

Thanks for the comments.
