Herb Robert

By Sus
I love black and white close ups of plants that really bring out the texture. Though I am beginning to realise my technique of swaying back and forth with my macro lens and taking lots of shots is a bit random - though I was pleased to see this is actually a recommended technique in the extra lens booklet supplied with Practical Photography this month!

I like the dof on the petals and the b+w conversion.

This is lovely, Sus. I love Herb Robert! Did you take this in Reydon wood?

No - I was surprised to find how few pictures I'd actually taken last Saturday! Still to sift through those. This just the garden.

Hi Sus
Thank you for your lovely comments on my picture.
Even though the woman is the central figure here, I intentionally left all the people to show that they were all in the process of preparation for the chilren's attraction.
The lady was so nice to look at the camera for just an instant, after which she went on with the rest of the things she had been doing before I came on the spot.
Cheers
