We found this odd looking fellow while hiking in a conservation area and came home and "googled"to find out what type of bird he was. He apparently is mostly nocturnal and only spends the summers in Canada...

Good capture of a woodcock they have super camaflauge when there in the woodlands they are very hard to spot amongst the leaves on the woodland floor. Shaun.
