Found this awesome Barn Owl in the trees at a local conservation area...he was definitely worth sinking into 3 feet of snow to shoot. Used my AUTO setting because I'm still a newbie and didn't want to miss him!!!

This is a great shot Susan,but its not a Barn owl,it looks more like a little owl to me.
Nice shot all the same,well spotted and captured............

thanks---I wasn't sure what type he was, but I was at a zoo the other day and they had one that looked similar, so I just ASSUMED he was a barn owl...thanks for your feedback!
