Bryce Boughs

An extremely photogenic tree clings to life (and the edge) at Bryce Canyon in Utah. Late afternoon sun lit up the canyon perfectly to set off the shaded tree. A couple of small patches of light just caught some of the timber.

I have another of this particular tree at sunrise the following morning which I was tempted to upload first, but thought it best to keep the chronology of the shots.

The Hoodoos as are actually orange by nature mate (see the shaded ones) but the sunlight is bleaching them yellow here.
