What a lovely sunset, the tones are made so perfect with the calmness of the water reflecting the granduer of the moment. One to be proud of Paul.

Beautiful shot, lovely subtle colours. Great choice of format. (In fact, you could probably crop to get an even more extreme panoramic format).

Dave - have done a more extreme crop too, as I am partial to more dramatic panoramas [you should see the ones I have in my house], but just felt that it loses impact on such a small image size. Does look good though.

Blow it up to about 30ft and sell it to Tate Modern! Its a superb "colourscape". The fact that it is a landscape is irrelevant to my enjoyment, it is the colours that make this image for me. Totally abstract and totally beautiful,

only one click allowed Paul, sorry

Ty Brian - might just do that, bit skint at the moment - getting to and from this location.

Ty Alan - absolutely real - you should go and see for yourself. A little beach at Cuil accessible by road from Duror nr Ballachulish.

Totally gorgeous post suset/pre-sunrise shot. Very beautiful wonderful sense of space and completely uncluttered multi clicks.

Lovely colour and scene. I do think however, that the horizon being dead centre, spoils an otherwise fantastic image.
Still gets my click though!!

David.

I personally prefer the portrait one too, however this seems more popular. Definitely worth adding to your portfolio - stunning.

I think the portrait shot beats it, because of the greater depth in the colours and the reach up for the lone star.

Thanks Margaret [for the birthday wishes - how did you know?] and Eric for your comments.

I have to agree with you Eric about the portrait shot, that's my preference although I think this one stands up pretty well.
