Great pic this. Did you wait for the right time to take it or did it just happen for you ?. The reason I ask is because I live only two hours from the highlands and I know how quickly the light can change

Hi Foggy. It was a nice crisp sunny winters day and I took various shots - see Berlinda Carlisle was right [in my portfolio] from all sides.
I decided to try a range of different settings to try and get a silhouetted result - this being one of the better ones, so everything you see is a natural shot, albeit this was probably the the lightest of all the shots, as I overdid the settings on the others and they came out too dark.
