Horseshoe Striations

By sut68
On our first night at the Horseshoe Bend overlook, the last of the day's sun does its utmost to add some drama to the sky. Unfortunately on this trip, we weren't treated to the best of sunrises or sunsets, but that makes us all the more eager to return again another time.

A couple of days later we were down at the bottom of this spot on an inflatable raft floating down the river towards Lee's Ferry - great experience.

Cheers for looking in,
Paul

Thanks guys. Admittedly I hadnít thought of this as being differently composed or framed, but maybe a landscape orientation is more the norm?

Thanks too guys for your UAís, much appreciated indeed Grin

The inclusion of the edge in the foreground is quite interesting...

Cheers Brian, a great, although very busy spot. Itís now got a safety barrier up got the main viewpoint which ironically has raised the death rate at this spot over the last twelve months.
