I find it very hard to justify uploading any shots from this location now as not only is it done to death on here in general, but I am one of the worst perpetrators.
This one is also particularly unjustified as I uploaded the frame before this one around the time it was taken in 2010
My poor self justification for this one is that I processed it before I realised I had done it before, I have nothing else to upload today anyway and I am happier with my processing this time around.
I will add the older shot into the versions and a mono version.
No promises that this will be my last transgression, hence the title. When the conditions are right and you are driving within a few minutes of the place it is very difficult to resist.
As always, and especially in the case of this particular subject - thanks for looking!
I don't think any justification is necessary for uploading such a lovely shot. I think V1 is stunning and it also looks very good in B&W.
I particularly like the colours and water capture. Great composition
to be honest i believe you thousands would not but i do whats not to like here excellent work a real pleasure to view ...err but dont take that as licence
Same here all three are great photos, for me I like 1&3 photos, but its number 3 that stands out as the best.
Three fantastic and beautiful image, well done,
All great compositions but V3 is superb its stunning.
Belter mate V3 deserves its own outing too!!!
Ah, damn you all, now a separate upload for the mono seems to be required! As long as you share the blame for any backlash
Thanks for your comments though, very much appreciated and you award means a lot Paul, so thanks very much for that too.
It makes no difference if it's been done to death as each image will be different, different light, clouds, seasons etc. What counts is that you have done it your way so to speak.
PS at least you had some clouds in yours mine is somewhat short on that count.
Thanks Rick. Very true Mick.
Still kicking myself slightly that although I had better light in this than in my 2008 shots, I managed to end up with a slightly worse composition than the earlier shots, but just another reason for swinging by the next time I am there.
Three beautiful images. What a lovely place.
Where is this again........?
Seriously, I came to this after the mono version. I prefer this colour version (V1).
