Morning Light

By SuziBlue
I have a couple of coloured glass bottles on a windowsill behind the curtain ... this pic catches a smidgeon of morning sun. Did some bracketing and got some interesting grades of colour. Cropped this one a little to concentrate the effect but that's it really - apart from a bruised thumb from the ironing board collapsing (well it was the right height to start with .. lol)

A great picture. The pastel colours and the light texture of the curtain really complement eachother. I also like the lean of the bottle and the opposite lean of the curtain folds. All very feminine - a bloke could never have taken this.

stunner of an image, who would have thought such a combination would have worked, fabric, bottles and an ironing board lol
Also shows the camera coolectors/snobs that the image is far more important that what you choose to take it

A wonderful shot which would look great as a piece of sem-abstract art! Can I juts suggest a tiny bit of cropping at the bottom to get rid of the space below the curtain fold....just scoll the pic on your monitor to see what I mean!!

Yep that little dark area doesn't belong there Grin

Following discussion with others on this site (esp Stan) I've been considering getting this printed up on canvas .. and have currently got it on ordinary photographic matt paper as a much larger print .. I'm starting to get that 'thrill' of an exciting project Grin LOL

First of all, many. many thanks for your comments on my pics. After having a look at your pics, it's obvious to me at least Smile that it is the work of great creativity. After being intoxicated by 'cute' pictures at the camera club I attend, it is so rare and so great (!) to find 'adventurous' pphotographers Smile

Subtle, soft, delicate, a superb image and a worthy EC - congratulations.

One minor picky critisism, two thirds of the was across the bottom the bottom edge the curtain cuts through the edge of the frame leaving a darker patch (perhaps even the darkest part of the image), worth a minor crop IMHO.

Thanks for the visit Julie Smile I guess it's down to personal taste really - images can be so subjective can't they, and we all have such different styles and approaches to what we point the camera at.
