Angle Shades Moth

By suzieosman
I found this moth just inside the back door this morning....Ade was gutted! So as we went off to Merthyr yesterday and my darling hubby bought me a new macro lens, I thought I'd stretch it's legs and see what I could come up with.
Just wanted to say Big Thanks to Gary & his lovely wife Sonia for their wonderful hospitality yesterday and how good it was to meet you both. Hope you like my first shots with the lens we bought from you.
Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone for their good wishes during my recent 'Event' as the doctor called it. Happily I'm feeling pretty good and on the mend.
Sue x

Thanks everyone, once I'm more back into the swing of things, I'll start trawling round the galleries and see what I've been missing in the last few years.
Thanks again Gary, bet you wished you'd kept it now Wink. It was really lovely to meet you both yesterday and I know just what Sonia means, I felt so welcomed and at home, like I'd known her for years, what a lovely lady you have there. Even Patch made me feel welcome, I think I found myself a new friend there, especially when he let me rub his tummy, what a little cutie Smile
You'll all be pleased to know, I let Ade have first shots of the Moth, so he could get his ultra macro shots, before I spooked it and it flew off, not that it did. I released it onto the Buddleia and when I last looked it was still there.
Nathan - it wasn't difficult to spot, it was on a white door frame at the time, so it's camouflage didn't really help it much

Thanks Mike, Col & David......Don't even go there Mike, if you had heard Ade over the last few years going on about all my images clogging up his hard drive....blah, blah, blah.....I suppose I'm going to have to have a good sort out one of these days but they're all on discs now, so heaven only knows how long it will take. Think I'll just go out and take some new ones instead....that should drive him round the twist and keep him well and truly on his toes Wink
