Little Owl

By suzieosman
Had a great trip to Skomer yesterday, thanks Andy (Proberts) for asking us along. I decided to avoid the crowds up at the Wick and headed off in search of something different to Puffins. As I was scanning a filed where the Oyster Catchers were scurrying about my eyes spotted something brown in the middle of the field. As you can imagine my heart was in my throat when I saw this beautiful Little Owl sitting there on a short post. After a while Ade & I decided to try & get a little closer and to our surprise although the little chap was watching us intently, he stayed put long enough for us to get some cracking shots. So this is my effort, hope you like it
Warmest Regards to all & Thanks for all the kind comments on my not so recent uploads
Sue

Well spotted, and well captured. I wish to be able to capture birds of prey in the wild like this...

Maybe I should go out with the camera more often! Wink
