Somerset Levels Cranes

By suzieosman
Didn't know about the fact these would feature on BBC Springwatch last night, so this is a little spooky as this was taken yesterday morning!!!

We've been going down to the Levels now for quite a few years and this was the very first time we'd ever seen them, so to see 14 all in the air at the same time was quite spectacular. What's more we only just got out of the car after arriving. Taken at the Wildlife Trust's Westhay Moor reserve from the car park....

Hope you enjoy looking.......Sue x

What an amazing sight that must have been! You've caught them brilliantly - not easy when pointing the camera up at the sky! I shall have to drag Graham over and hopefully see them soon! Smile

What an awesome spectacle to behold, i've never seen so many flying in formation all at once. I saw the Levels featured yesterday on Springwatch, I half expected to see the Big O dressed in his combat gear and pushing his fishing trolley about!Wink

What a sight!

Now that is one ultra grand capture, Sue. Good grief.

Bravo Smile
