Innocent Hollyhock flower... is love to a Snail.......

By SvetAriadne
Scent was a trap laid so still around her blush cheeks.... they had such pink & frail bloom softy dripping the necktie in dew form....
Her branch was like eternity swinging by wind....Snail tumbled in to her scents.....washed clean by the rain........
Even a snail will eventually reach its destination............Wink

Very nice again. Reminds me of an old Simon and Garfunkel song with a line that says "I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail"

Minor suggestions. Snail shell can be sharpened a bit more; be careful with red, - it will over-saturate easily, so I desaturated the red channel; and a personal opinion for me is to stay away from using the dominant image colour in a border, - so the mod is a little different.

Regards

Very effective if a touch over exposed. I would have tried to set a smaller aperture if your camera allows it. Possibly f8 might be available.

Thank you Willie for the modification.....I like the way you desaturated the red flower.....perhaps you've got some program that allow you to do that....Smile
I don't use Photoshop, only Picasa & do some minor editing to all my photos.....mostly sharpening because I'm fascinated with Macro the most ....but also add some saturation & play with colors & sepia...Smile So I would be more than happy to learn what is the best program you've been using....if it's not a secret Smile
Carol thank you so much for taking your time & coming to my tiny humble place....I've seen your amazing macro photography & all your friends that come & appreciate it...So wonderful ! Thanks all of you ....it means a lot when you comment because it inspires me to come back her Smile !!
