Just for fun

By banehawi
I found this while digging in old folders this morning.

This is my wife and I, in 1972. I took the photo using an Asahi Pentax 35mm on a tripod, self timer; developed, printed and scanned myself.

Brings back memories.

I always suspected you were probably a bit of a hippy, and this proves that you had just moved on from that phase in your lives................... This really is a DIY job. This should be one of your pride and joys............... The happy couple!!!!!

Sets off lots of memories - my second SLR was a Spotmatic II, bought in 1972, to replace an Exa 500. So much smoother, so much less flare...

I don't think I was as good-looking - and I had to wait another five years before I met my wife!

A delightful image...

In 1972 I was a mere 10 years old and my camera was a Kodak Instamatic 104, and I've still got it. Getting film can sometimes be a problem though.

I dont remember the model, but I remember that there was no prism, so I looked down into a ground glass viewer, and it was 35mm. Practikas were very popular around that time. My camera was old in 1972.
