I agree with Debu -- very lovely image. I really like the golden tones of the wet sand.
What's the new program you are playing with?

Beautiful setting, light and colours, Lin, and I like the way the figure is set against the brightest patch of sand.
I hope you won't mind my suggesting a square crop might work well here with the photographer positioned on the vertical right thirds line.......I think it makes for an even more pleasing composition.

I love this Lin. As good if not better than your previous shots of the beach and sunsets. Brilliant Lin that unique light and colour, the NIKON Girl. Excellent.

A lovely scene, Lin, I think I would like to see a little more space on the left hand side of the image, though. Carol

The processing looks pretty good to me, Lin. I would put the girl on a 'third' as well for a better balance (and I would probably reverse the image so she was looking to the right - no-one's going to know Wink)

Beautiful image, fabulous light, what ever program your using you definitely have got the hang of it Smile

27 Sep 2012 11:12AM
fine work here Lin like Ronnie i think a square crop would work but cropping to make her in the 1st third from the left that way keeping in the headland on the right Wink

27 Sep 2012 11:14AM
Beautiful lighting. Yes - reverse the image, so she's looking into the frame, and crop to square so she's on the 'third'.

Looks great to me. The girl is well positioned as far as the light is concerned, but quite central in your frame, and so I agree with some of the comments above about cropping.

You seem to have things working well Lin - the figure might be a little central, but hey ho that's a minor consideration.Wink

You have muster the program very well Lin.I do think as well that the girl is to central and less sky will make the image stronger.
