I love the way they paddle over the water once they have raised their weight just have caught the foot splashes so well here in this take off shot. Nicely captured, Linda.

Not perfect, as you say, but this is a very nice photo indeed. Your timing is superb and I love the breaking ice under the swan.

Technically, the brightest parts of the swan are a little over-exposed but it's not a large area so, at this resolution, I don't think it's much of a problem. However, the darker parts of the swan (the neck and the lower edge of the wing are, I'd say, a bit too dark. A gentle curves adjustment would lighten those parts without having a significant effect on the over-exposed parts.
