A historical site with many memories for so many: looks a bleak dismal site though, Darryl, with the essence of the spot so well displayed in your shot.

Those posts act as great framing for the scene beyond. Love the muted tones in the marshland which are reflected in the posts themselves. Nice one Darryl. GrinGrin

A very bleak, desolate and remote rural landscape, this one does remind me of a battlefield, in fact it reminds me of the one at Tewkesbury which regularly floods
