I waited four years for this shot, landing towards me with a beak full of sand eels. 1st year, poor weather and still feeding out to sea. 2nd year at Lundra, I was too early, they were still mating. 3rd year Skomer, got the timing right, plenty of sand eel shots but wind direction wrong for the landing shots. 4th year Farne Islands, timing right, wind direction right, good lighting and as a little bonus, stormy clouds in the background.
