how I wish the collar leash is cloned off (just a friendly opinion). Smile

Most photographers would have changed what they saw, and if its a commercial shoot it would be justified.
but people that know me know I photograph everything as I see it. After well over 50 years of taking photos I will never change.
I think I benefit from getting what I want before I press the shutter. This makes me work harder and hopefully makes me a better photographer.
One of my best friends is a top commercial photographer and I know he would have cloned out the lead.

  • A day in London

The 4 photographs from the Shard were taken through glass.
I took my polarizer but did not use it.
My CZ lens does the job.

Quote:Super shot. - and I do envy your courage .... I would love to do some 'street' too! Eileen

I'm a wildlife photographer, and just doing some street photography, then back refreshed to the kingfishers.
I live in Hampshire, and go where there are lots of photographers, like London or the Thames Valley.
started to ask before taking a photo, until some foreign folks were rather rude. ( see VER 2 )
In a public place you are within the law to photograph whoever you choose.
I'm retired born in England, my mother was a cockney. I am very happy with people from abroad living here,
if they are respectful and abide by English laws.

  • China Town

I am so grateful to: mrswoolybill, banehawi, ,dudler, pamlajean and Tanyah.
Your input is very helpful indeed.
China Town, London, I tried to keep the Wang Dynasty sign and the flag with Chinese figures on it, in the photo.
I would like TanyaH to put up a mod. I like the idea of the shutters kept in the picture, but felt the people would be isolated.
I also liked the London paving slabs.
The guy behind the couple was collecting rubbish. Although I patiently waited the scene was rather busy to capture it how I would have liked.
Photographing wildlife for years did not need Photoshop, this is a different ball game.

Quote:Do you have the original colour version Alan?

If so, can you upload it as a modification to this shot? We can look at both the exposure and the mono conversion that way. Then we can kill two birds (not kingfishers!) in one.

    Regards

    Willie

Uploaded the original, Just converted from RAW strait from the camera.
