Pleasley Pit Engine House

By Sylviwhalley
Some more shots taken last Tuesday at Pleasley Pit, some of the machinery inside the engine house, looked after and being restored by volunteers, I believe it was first run on steam. An important part of local and national heritage. Taken using natural light from those lovely arched windows.

All are images of the British supreme engine design era. A follow up would be
the 50s and 60s era of fine British motorcycles like Royal Enfield,
Villers and BSA etc. TG

A fine set of images of this restored machinery, Sylvia - not easy in these situations with contrasty lighting and the confined space there usually is Smile
