Parus bicolor 6 inches. male and female appear the same. a non-migrator

The amusing little bird is a year-round resident in our woodlands. They would prefer to nest in old woodpecker holes (when available), to raise a large brood. Titmice prefer insects, seeds and fruit as well as quantities of 'bird seed' and suet from feeders.
