Libellulla pulchella male 2 inches

Large, aggressive and very territorial, he likes lakes, ponds and sluggish backwaters. The female is similar but lacks the white patches!

Over the top quality and colors! In case you didn't know it yet, Jenn, I'm a hobby naturalist and dragonflies are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. I have a nice collection, but this photo is the BEST!
