Quote: I think the lizard has a few steps of evolution to get to the Swan!
However, good picture - like the shadows.

It was not until after i had posted it that i realised that i had uploaded the wrong photo. Hay Ho i could always photoshop and turn it into some sort of lizard. Rainbow lizard to follow tomorrow.

Migrant Hawker correct way round by tamasalucy

Migrant Hawker correct way round

Quote: With some insects you can rotate them and they look fine - for me personally I prefer Dragonflies to be the right way up.

You've caught its eyes beautifully and, because the body/wings are out of focus, I don't mind them being cropped off. I really like the colours and details you've caught, this makes a lovely close up.

Sorry Karenfb it was you who noticed that the image had been rotated 360 and not satireblue well spotted

The black Rhino by tamasalucy

The black Rhino

Quote: Soon to be seen only in a zoo !! More than 550 killed in South Africa alone this so far this year because some dumb people believe Rhino horn has medicinal value !

Hi Hermanus yes it is a crying shame that this is allowed to happen. I think i will start a rumour that poachers balls have medicinal value and hopefully they will become close to extinction. the ignorence of some people is astounding. Anyway thanks for the vote and your comments.

HI Andy it was quite the opposite with this wee fella even with my two Akitas sniffing around him he just went about his business as bold as brass and my two Akitas just sat there fascinated.

The Honey badger by tamasalucy

The Honey badger

Quote: It is not always possible / easy but whenever practical take the image when the head/face is in the light - here the eye is drawn away from the face to the back of the head / back as it is lighter

Quote: Nothing sweet about this creature , good capture but maybe could have been a bit sharper around the face , will let you off though as you were probably shaking with fear as you pressed the button .Kel

HI Kel and Phil
Thanks for your comments this photo I had to compromise action for quality and light in my portfolio there is another photo of this Honey badger better quality but lacking the drama. I suppose timing is everything in taking these type of shots.

Hi Tony been in the garden today and will start posting new pics tomorrow.

Squirrel by tamasalucy

Quote: Nice image yet it can be stronger if cropped much closer. Say, bringing the tail to within a half inch of the right frame and proportional on all sides? TG

HI Tony thanks for the advise I will do this and then repost.
