Seems we are both into flowers this morning Wink - this one is so beautiful, perfectly dreamy!
Works also really well with the colours, they make it very "airy", more like a soft veil.

They come in some amazing colours, really intense.
This is fabulous. I've rarely seen Alfred this excited over a flower.

Yeah, I saw yours Isabel - it's beautiful Smile I've never really done 'serious' flower photography before, but the odd bits I have done recently have really got me fired up about doing them!

John - thank you Smile 'Ghost flower' - I like that! Wish I'd thought of it as a title, but hey Wink

Rob, thanks very much for your user award! Artistic is kind of what I was aiming for, so glad it's delivered on that score!

Alan - thank you. Both for the the comment and your user award. Glad Alfred's happy Smile

Norman, thank you for your user award!
The colour has actually been tweaked in Snapseed - hence the soft blue/yellow tones. The original flower is slightly off-white Smile

If anyone's interested, I've added the original image as V1. Off white, creamy yellow at the base of central leaves and a very slight blueish hue probably due to the fact it was taken in shade Smile

Alan, if you're ever bored look up 'giant dahlias' (also known as 'dinnerplate dahlias') ... they can grow up to 5' tall with blooms 10 or 12 inches across ... Wink
