In the Midst of Change

By tarara
The marvelous first colors of the Chinese Canldleberry which began as a nursery import that would add fall color to our area and has ended as prolific growth that has replaced natural flora. We call them popcorn trees because that's what the berries look like.

A beautiful array of colours

The cascading form of the vegetation...
The autumn shades of this "leafy waterfall"...
All are elements that strongly contrast with the cool and blurred background -- thus catching the eye.
The final (?) "burgundy" color can already be seen in parts of the foliage !
