Magnolia

By tarara
This magnolia (Floribunda Grandiosa) grows on a 30 foot tree in the southern part of the US, and the blooms are rarely in a position to get this shot. I found one beside the road, in a place that was accessible, and went home to get my camera. You have one day to get your picture because each bloom only lasts a day. I was lucky this one wasn't deteriorated that afternoon. Blooms are something like 8 inches across or more. Smells wonderful.
