Meditation Time

By tarara
The Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay just past sunset. The early Native Americans called this the "Bay of the Holy Spirit", probably because, on the eastern shore, certain fish, eels, and crabs gather at the shoreline for easy taking at times of their own choosing. The phenomenon is known as a "Jubilee" and when and why it happens is still a mystery that most area residents have their own answer for. Residents come to this pier for evening strolls and quiet time at sunset. This pier was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan, rebuilt, and opened just two weeks before being hit and destroyed even more by Hurricane Katrina. It is currently being re-rebuilt. However, the natural beauty was not destroyed and people still come to the Bay of the Holy Spirit for evening strolls, quiet time at sunset, and to check the progress of construction.

As there is no detail at all in the base you could crop a lot of it out making more of a letterbox format.Silhouettes on right adds a nice touch of human element

Marvelous description Yvonne - I hope it'll be third time lucky for the pier. Nicely done.

Nice perspective, colours and silhouettes. Was going to suggest a crop, but it has already been said.
