a pair of "one night bloom"

By tashi
Good morning to all!
Here’s another upload of the “one night bloom”. It's from the same night shoot.
Also, my sincere thanks to all those who saw my yesterday’s upload and I greatly appreciate all the comments/votes/suggestions that came my way; now I realize that I’m learning a lot from EPZ and its members; getting inspired too. In fact I'm eagerly waiting for the next bloom of the same flower !!!!!
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Rani, I should say it is an excellent attempt to take the night bloom but this time I wont say it is excellent rather I should let you know that this shot is totally out of focus, examin yourself, just enlarge it and see the two flowers they totally lack focus, try to focus on the subject and the metering mode.

I know you are taking photography seriously and you can be a good photographer.. Just keep an eye on the modes, focus and important is the timings..

Best of luck, Rani.

Nice shot! Well taken but i agree with Samar,it's a little bit out of focus.
Better exposure of the stamens & pistil of this Brahmakamalam. Being a night shot the picture is less crispy - Raja.

Although slightly out of focus, this still makes for a very pretty shot. Well done.

Much said about the pic, but nobody suggested how to expose a white subject with flush attached with a camera. It is too difficult ,one must admit.I do not know , whether ur camera has a control over flush out put. If not , cover a white cloth on the flush window. Take trial pics by applying -/+ compensation. Hope a - 2/3 to -1 exp would give u a desired result.

Thanks for identifying this flower. I do have one more shoot from the same night but I'm still wondering whether I should upload it or not!!!!
