Urban - face off

By tazisdylan
From the urban series, taken a while ago now! Wink Thought I had already posted this one.

As I posted this I noticed something that I'm not sure of...

But I'll let you have your say first.

Those eyes are stunning

Wow, great impact (I like the tight crop), great eye contact, from a very expressive modelSmile
Some people might find fault with the hands (not being connected to the model) but I think that they add to the impact.
I am not sure that I can see what you are not sure of....Wink

Saeid - always nice to have your feedback - I may not know much about photography but I know the importance of the eyes in a half-decent portait, so pleased you found them striking.

Tim - thanks for the detailed comments and your thoughts on the hands. I was trying to get them more matched in position than they are but these models have nasty habit of moving. What I noted on upload was the graffiti line in the backround which I thought some may find distracting, in particularly the slight flash of 'black' to the top RHS of the frame above the model's head. And now I look again, the ring on hand to RHS of frame. - I know what it is, but due to the burn out it is not so obvious to those who do not know...

Hi Jason,

I had noticed the black mark in the background but IMHO it doesn't distract from the modelSmile
I had'nt noticed the ring

I think that as the model is so stunning and you`ve captured the eyes so well , I would never have noticed anything untoward.
The crop also works very well IMHO.Perhaps I`m not as observant as some people .But then again I`m mainly just looking at shots
on this site to decide if I like them or not.For me this is most certainly a `LIKE `.
