Common Lizard

I would have to say one of my favourite photography projects aside from the Badgers this summer was reptiles and Lizards. Having known several locations for them for some time, I finally decided it was time to try and capture some images, but I quickly realised it would be difficult to get something different from the 'norm' as they often lay in a similar position when bathing in the sun to warm up. It took several visits before I started to get the opportunity to photograph different behaviours and poses.

Well this climbing position looks fine. The jewel like detail always looks so good too. TG
