This type of shot really does have to have a lot of punch. Though very close this just misses the mark ever so slightly. Try using the unsharp mask as your last edit before converting to jpeg. It may help. I have no idea why its called unsharp, but it works wonders. It gets my vote for the tones and pose both work togerther.
