Could it be magic?

By teocali
Had a wonderful day with Mossyoak and Maiwand yesterday, witnessing aircraft carrying out their validation displays in preparation for Farnborough 2010. Haven't had a chance to wade through my pictures yet, but this one of the Vulcan Bomber caught my eye - it reminded me of the Donna Summer classic Could it be Magic? Some of you might remember it Wink
The lens flare over the cockpit it genuine (not photoshopped) and the image has just been tweaked in levels, etc in PS5. There is a halo around the tail particularly, so it is up for mods if anybody fancies having a go.

Settings: F/9 1/8000sec -1.67EV ISO400 AV@700mm tripod

Many thanks for the terrific response to my last upload, Foxy Lady with a special thank you to fish101 and Oakey for their User Awards - really blown away by this and very much appreciated Smile

Great shot, I wouldn't worry about the halo imho. You have the delta shape very well with this view.

Lovely rendering of the old lady - the 'flash' adds something a little special - prefer the equally old classic ''those were the days, my friend" -excellent post, thanks.
