Wild Fox

By teocali
Taken this morning through an open window overlooking neighbouring fields. This wild Fox (Vulpes vulpes) was searching for food and occasionally jumping up and down pouncing on its prey (just like a cat). Had to wait till he/she was close enough (about 200yds away). High ISO of 2500 with the 7D so the image is noisy, despite my efforts to process, therefore up for MODS if anybody fancies a go.
Settings: F/5.6 1/800sec ISO2500 AV@420mm handheld.

Many thanks for your C&Cs on Bethany - really appreciated as always Smile Hope you all have a great Christmas and best wishes to everybody for 2011

Although there may a degree of noise, given the high ISO and distance involved, it is perfectly acceptable, although I have to say it is not really all that obvious on my screen. A lovely shot, Sylvia.
Have a super day tomorrow.
Regards, Ronnie.

I am impressed Sylvia. This is a cracking good shot at that distance and in such poor light.

A beautiful creature, very well captured Sylvia, especially under the circumstances, "handheld" your biceps must be building up nicely these days. Have a lovely day tomorrow.
