Forever in Full Cry

By teocali
The grand old Sixteen Point Red Stag still in full cry. This has only been cropped to reduce height - the width is as originally taken in full frame. Best large if you have a moment.

I was blown away by your response to my last upload - A Quiet Moment. Thank you all so much for your continued support of this series. A special thank you to Dan and Richard for the superb mods - definitely an improvement Smile

Another brilliant capture. I would probably have left slightly more room at the bottom but that's just a personal preference. Great shot!

A good crop Sylvia and very fine detail bringing out the whiskers very well. Like the turn of head and timing mid roar on this.
This could be it for another year, sadly, next project birth with the newborns or in snow, now there's an idea.
Great capture

Cracking good timing Sylvia-- caught him in mid cry. Close crop of the height has really given him great impact.

Great timing and detail Sylvia... I'd have left a tad more on the bottom?

Point taken, but unfortunately that is the way it was composed Jon - took it in a hurry and that was the position at the bottom of the frame. I had to crop the height to balance it up. Suppose I could have tried to extend the canvas but that could have been tricky.
