..... another more mature looking and very well fed Grey Atlantic Seal Pup (Halichoerus grypus), left to fend for itself after the final departure of its mother. Taken at Donna Nook, Lincs at the beginning of December. This is a full frame capture taken 26.7m from subject.

They really are such appealing little creatures Sylvia. It's a wonder they remain so apparently content lying as they all day and night on that cold and inhospitable beach!!!GrinGrin

Is he/she on his/her mobile? Cracking shot. I never get within 200 yards of our local seals before they scramble off into the water.
